Fine n Dand-E is a home-schooling, family-run home business.
I am a SAHM to 5 wonderful children and THEY ARE MY LIFE.

Family harmony, bonding, togetherness & UNITY are very important to me
& the family as a whole.
Everything is done as a family whether: working , playing, creating, learning, building, re-building, or relaxing.

I have chosen the role of PROFESSIONAL MOTHER as my career and have sought to develop a business plan that would reflect our family's values and principles. It is important to us that whatever business venture we choose, that it doesn't take away from the *importance & priority * of the FAMILY.

We wanted to do something fun, educational and beneficial to ourselves & others and make some new friends while we were at it!

The children *LOVE* to " play - store" and it is one of their favorite pastimes. As a result Fine n Dand-E was born.

Each child is assigned tasks and business responsibilities that reflect their creative abilities & expertise. We feel that a "family-run" home business offers lots of educational benefits and potential to teach our children about economics, business skills, merchandising, marketing and teamwork.

I know how difficult it can be to find quality children's clothes & accessories at a discount~ as well as other quality children's items. Since we are just getting started, our current inventory is pretty limited ; but hope to add to the store diversity in the future. We primarily offer quality name brand children's clothing & accessories; both new and used. Occassionally, we'll offer: toys, Avon products, home-school/ educational materials, books, games, software & hardware, adult clothing,boutique items& much more.

As a seller , and a small business owner, I try to be understanding of my customers needs and realize that sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. As a Christian , I try to extend courtesy and forgiveness when those things do happen... and allow my customers some flexiblity [ including waiting for payments until a later time - if need be]. I always follow-up w/ friendly reminders or emails to ask if there's a problem and give an extension if necessary. I usually don't care when I get paid - just that I eventually do.

eBay Transactions:
I only file [ eBay] NPBs notifications/ warnings if it is absolutely necessary...such as , if the situation cannot be resolved amicably. As a norm, I don't feel comfortable about leaving negative feedback and generally don't. I will work hard & offer my best- to work out a resolution amicably with a customer before considering such a response. I have found that by extending respect to my buyers, it has proven to be a very positive aspect of developing proper business relations, friendly services and have built a solid customer base as a result.

** Please note: That while we have chosen a path less traveled with this Mother home full-time; we in no way are passing judgement on other families and their choices. We are in no way saying that one way is better than the other or that our decision makes this Mom a better mother. We feel that such decisions and choices are best left up to the indivdual and their families of what they feel God has called them to do. We feel that some Mothers better serve their familes if they have chosen an alternate path [ ie. working outside the home]. We applaud these woman for their courage and strength to do what they feel they must ~ either for their familes or for themselves.
